Principal's Message

 

 

Dear AIS Families,

 

It is with great excitement and pride that I write this letter of introduction to you as the new principal of Aiea Intermediate School! I am honored to join this wonderful community of educators, families, and students. I am blessed to lead a school with such a rich history and tradition of excellence!

 

I come to AIS with over two decades of experience in education, having served in athletics as a coach, classroom teacher, assistant principal, district administrator, and most recently as principal at Shafter Elementary School. Throughout my career, I have shared the same vision and mission at AIS, being deeply committed to creating an “engaging, inspiring, and challenging learning environment where every student can realize their potential to the fullest.”

 

At the core of my educational philosophy is the belief that every student has the potential to succeed, and it is our responsibility as a united school community to provide the support, encouragement, and resources they need to realize their full potential. I am dedicated to fostering a school culture that values diversity,collaboration, and promotes a genuine love of learning.

 

I am eager to get to know each of you and work together to continue the great work that is already happening at Aiea Intermediate School. I believe in the power of strong partnerships between school and home, and I am committed to maintaining open lines of communication and collaboration with all members of our school community. Your insights, feedback, and support are invaluable as we strive to provide the best possible education for our students.

 

In the weeks ahead, I look forward to meeting with students, parents, and staff to hear your thoughts, ideas, and aspirations for our school. Together, we will build on our strengths and address areas of need, ensuring that AIS remains a place where students feel a strong sense of belonging, safety, and excitement to learn.

Jump Start- July 22 and 23

7th Grade Orientation- August 6

First Day of School (All Students)- August 7
